Te Wharae Tapa Wha

This week it is maori language week so we decided to do some stuff in LH6 .We had to get in groups of 6 and my group was Chloe,georgie.georgia,samara,ari and I.We were learning about the four walls in te whare tapa wha.We presented our slide in front of the class and everyone had to say something.In each sentence it has to have a maori word i it. 

Te Reo Maori Art

This week in LH6 we have to do some te reo maori art.We have to remember a page of out favorite childhood book and draw out the page and translate the word  in maori.My book i chose was Hairy maclary from donaldson's dairy,I drew a picture of the page of the book and translated the words into maori.

 

Reading

This week In Lh6 we have been assigned in our reading groups to do this activity.In my group (pohutukawa) We have to read this book called the island and brainstorm some ideas around how the events,contact,art style raw emotions make you feel.We have to write a letter to to the editor witch will be displayed in their newspaper or write and article to go on the front page :)

Daffodil Day.

In level 4 lockdown it was daffodil day and we in LH6 had to make something that represents this day.This is what I have done,I made vanilla cupcakes and put yellow icing on them.

 

Physical Maths LH6

 

Today we did some physical maths in LH6.We Kicked the ball as far as we could 5 times and then collected all the data.We were in a group of three and my piktochart shows Ari and Samaras data.We collected all the measurements and data and then wrote it down and then we take away the measurements from 100 and thats how far away we were.We 1/2 it 1/4 it and 3/4 it

Sports- people love it- makes people happy. In LH6 we did a sports graph on what sport in most popular in LH6.We collected all the data at once throw out the whole class.Rugby took the lead and then it went Dance. We did a poster on the data and showed the results ANds we did 2 statements about the data.

We were learning about making sure our online information is not public when it is personal

I found it really hard to know about what to share and what to keep privet because it has become so easy to share what i do on things like instagram.

I found it really easy to create the image of me as i have done this kind of thing before.

Net time, I will take more time to craft my writing to ensure my  vocabulary and sentence structures 

reflect on my writing level.

ARE YOU A HUMAN

                                            We have been learning how to make a game.My learning shows me and my friend Allie have done a ARE YOU A HUMAN game.I enjoyed making this with a buddy.I found challenging liking the games so it goes to the right slide.Next time I might Do better question. 

Trip to Fiji with Allie

                                                                                  We have been learning how to make a postcard and insert photos.My learning shows we have put photos of me and my friend Allie onto a fiji beach.I enjoyed making the photos and putting them on.I found challenging knowing what to write.Next time I might do more writing.

              We have been learning how to make a gamefroot.My learning shows I have made it move.I enjoyed making it.I found challenging doing the code. Next time I might do it quicker.

 WE have been learning how to make a gamefroot. MY learning shows I have done my pepeha on my game.I really enjoyed putting my pepeha in.I found challenging setting it all up.Next time I might do a different character.

HMS Endeavour.

We have been learning how to draw a HMS Endeavour. My learning shows painted the sky and the sea and drawed the Endeavour. I really enjoyed sketching the Endeavour. I found challenging drawing the boat because it is a big boat.Next time I might do a better sketch.☺☺

Rugby ball

This is my rugby world cup ball. We have been learning how to figure out clues to solve a puzzle. My learning shows I have colored it in rainbow colors.I really enjoyed figuring out the clues. 

I found challenging doing it with a time limit.

The All Blacks

On thursday the 29th of August 4 All Blacks came to our school ( the names are up above ). When they came onto the big side everybody started screaming and yelling with happennes. My learning shows I have already wrote about it .The Kapa Haka group performed and  I was a bit nervous. They played rippa with the rippa team that went away. Also with some other people from classes played to.
